However, from this health blog do not recommend that you take on your own, but at least consult the pharmacist. In addition we will what are the main therapeutic uses of herbs.

You see, not only aromatic and therapeutic herbs, but there are plants and foods that have specific properties that act on our body.

Thus, the main uses of therapeutic herbs are:

Valeriana. It is one of the most consumed plants to relax the body. In fact, there are times when you can produce an excess of relaxation.

Ajo. Enhances the effects of drugs. It is a food with a bad reputation because of its smell and taste, but that is used to reduce blood pressure and to combat cholesterol.

Ginkgo. It’s good for the circulation and also inhibited the effect of anti-convulsants.

Kava-kava. Little known. It has long been used for its calming effect and a muscle relaxant. It also enhances the risk of over anticoagulation.

Licorice. To combat colds and as a laxative. But beware, licorice can also develop hypertension.

Echinacea. It is widely used to combat influenza and the common cold.

Psyllium. Its use is usually indicated to combat constipation and diarrhea. Experts say that can alter levels of blood plasma.

Borage. It is a plant that can be used to preserve the skin and also called premenstrual syndrome.

These are just some of the plants and foods that are used as therapeutic. All have their positive point, but also its downside, especially when mixed with drugs. Caution in its use and consult an expert.

The ethereal oil’s effectiveness comes from its calming and relaxing properties that can alleviate a heavy heart, unwind a tired body and overcome insomnia.

The term insomnia describes the inability to have an adequate amount of sleep. It is also called insomnia and it is a very common illness that affects many people. It is believed that over 20% of the world’s population suffers from insomnia. If you do not easily fall asleep or wake up very early in the morning, you’re probably one of them. It calls the insomnia in different classes, as a transient (lasting less than a week) and long-term or chronic (lasting more than a month), which is the most dangerous to health.

Aromatherapy can be had to the delight of those with sleep problems

As mentioned earlier, aromatherapy can also be a good way to treat insomnia and provides a quiet relaxing deep sleep. The most effective essential oils that are used to treat insomnia are: lavender, marjoram, chamomile, rosewood and sandalwood.

Aromatherapy is burning oil with an oil lamp and it can be used to create a soothing atmosphere in your bedroom to help you relax. Aromatherapy Candles also have a positive impact. In addition, you can add 1 or 2 drops of your favorite oil, 1 liter of warm water in a bowl and keep your face over the bowl (about 50 cm for safety reasons) and inhale the steam.

To sprinkle some drops on a pillow can do good to come to rest and relax more. You relax, fall asleep easier and have a deeper sleep. Another relaxing techniques that reduce insomnia symptoms are aromatherapy massages. Essential oils should never be used undiluted, but in combination with the appropriate base oils. Gently rubbing the body and head can calm the nervous system and be a pleasant experience.

Finally, truly relaxing, is aromaterapibad. Add 3 drops of lavender oil, 1 drop of chamomile oil and 1 drop of ylang ylang oil directly into the bath water. Lying in the bath for 15 minutes on the natural calming properties as essential oils. This unwinding of both body and soul. After the bath, go to bed so you’ll probably fall asleep immediately, and will enjoy a wonderful relaxing deep sleep until the morning.
