Tips to Improve Your Sleep During Pregnancy
During pregnancy there are many things you can sleep disturbance: excessive urination, nausea, heartburn, dreams, fears, stress, calf cramps and so on. Many of these complaints are inevitable. Yet there are enough things you can try to improve your sleep. Below are some tips:
Limit drinking in the evening and late afternoon: While it is important that you have at least 2 liters of fluid a day receives, it is wise to especially at night not much to drink.
Watch your diet: sharp spicy food and tomato can cause heartburn symptoms. Caffeine, you may already too much during pregnancy, can you awake. Drink in the late afternoon and evening not caffeinated coffee or tea and avoid chocolate too.
Do not eat heavy meals before going to bed: Make sure your body at least 3 hours of time to process the food before going to bed.
If you frequently at night may help nausea before going to bed a few cakes or crackers to eat. A full stomach indicates fewer complaints of nausea.
Relax completely before you go to bed: Take a walk, reading a magazine or take a nice relaxing warm shower just before going to bed. Look no means difficult or exciting films documentaries just before going to bed. Do not discuss things that can keep you awake just before going to bed. If you yourself are someone who lies down at night thinking about all the things that have made or to be settled, then you get used to a list to keep going. Write the evening, well before going to bed, everything you the next day or few days regularly want. So make your mind free from such thoughts. Although sports and physical activity during pregnancy has been very good, it’s not wise to just before going to bed to go exercise. Give your body a minimum of 3 hours time to relax after working out before going to bed.
Create a solid bed ritual: Try the same time daily to go to bed and get up at the same time. Do the same every night for half an hour before going to bed, reading such a relaxing magazine. (Do not read books on pregnancy, etc. just before going to bed. The chances are that you read something which you think are going on that night). Make sure your bedroom is cool. If you are pregnant, you often cold and warm your bedroom promotes sleep.
