Generally, the skin is all oily, dry, a combination both, sensitive or acne prone.

Simply put water is vital to our skin as well as for most other functions and components of the body. Without water, we would not survive, and neither our skin. Be sure to drink at least eight glasses of water each day to keep your skin and body well hydrated.

Acne Treatments
Acne, bumps or pimples, you name it, is caused by the blockage of skin pores, ie the accumulation of fat and dead cells that are generated faster than they can be eliminated.
It usually begins in the pre-puberty, when levels of androgens that produce growth of the sebaceous glands of the skin with a consequent increase of sebum on the face, chest and back. The fundamental lesion in acne vulgaris is the comedo pimple or caused by retention of sebum within the pilosebaceous follicle. The blockage causes a follicle bulge causing white spots and the top of the obstruction can cause dark spots.
Acne is classified by the type of injuries to comedones and mild seborrhea, mild when present papulo severe inflammatory pustules and the presence of nodules and cysts. If the obstruction causes a break in the follicle wall, dead cells, fat and bacteria, normally found on the surface of the skin, can penetrate and form small infected areas called pustules, if these infected areas are deep in the skin may increase in size until it forms firm, painful cysts.
The importance of acne treatment is to reduce and prevent scar formation and excessive skin coloration and reduce the negative psychological effects that affect the self-producing social inhibition, depression and / or anxiety. There are many products available for the treatment of acne, many with unproven effects scientifically. The effectiveness of all treatments for acne can be evaluated just after 6 to 8 weeks of starting, most patients will see a 40% improvement after 2 months of treatment, 60% at 4 months and 80% or more at 6 months.
